The Regent Theatre in Stoke-on-Trent regularly welcomes in an array of touring stage productions and comedians, have present numerous national tours the likes of 'Cats', '42nd Street' and 'The Woman in Black' since it's renovation in the late 1990's. Before becoming a theatre, the Regent opened as a cinema in 1929, able to host cine-variety type performances with in between-film stage shows.
