Doctor Dolittle the Musical tickets

Oscar and Grammy award-winner, Leslie Bricusse, brings this stunning production of the infamous Doctor Dolittle, together with the production team behind ‘Chitty Chitty Bang Bang’. Based on the 1957 movie adaptation, which stars Rex Harrison and was also adapted by Bricusse, the musical retells the story with added song and sparkle.

The musical is a celebration of 50 years since the film's release. It fuses together the novels by Hugh Lofting, telling the tale of the doctor who discovers he can talk and listen to animals. Dolittle embarks on a journey to find the Giant Pink Sea Snail, with the help of many furry friends along the way like Pushmi-Pullyu and Polynesia the parrot.

Children can sing-along to the lovable songs, such as the Academy Award-winning ‘Talk to the Animals’, while adults will appreciate the colourful, special effects.

The musical kickstarts its tour at Bromley in November 2018.
