UK based chamber orchestra London Concertante regularly performs up to and over one hundred concerts per year, making it the busiest ensemble of its kind in the country. With their numerous recordings reaching great critical acclaim, the ensemble is continually regarded as one of the finest groups in Europe since its founding in 1991. Indulge in the masterworks of four of the most revered composers of all time - Vivaldi, Mozart, Telemann, and Bach. The ensemble will present Mozart’s phenomenal three-movement ‘Divertimento in D’, before we are treated to Telemann’s ‘Viola Concerto’ - the first known viola concerto ever to be composed. All of this before the Concerto for 2 Violins by J.S. Bach, with its’ beautifully subtle slow movement and it’s virtuosic finale. And finally - Vivaldi, a composer who is famed for his playful and effervescent style, completes the program with his iconic ‘Four Seasons.’ For classical music lovers and casual listeners alike - this promises to be a truly special evening.
