Triple C Theatre Company presents an adaptation of Louisa M Alcott’s classic novel, LITTLE WOMEN. We follow the adventures of the March family in 1864 America. This heart-warming story has entertained audiences world-wide, and the March sisters -- the tomboy Jo, the beautiful Meg, the spoilt Amy, and the angelic Beth -- have inspired generations of little girls. With the rebellious Jo fighting against the conventions of the age regarding feminine behaviour, the beautiful Meg being launched into a society above her perceived social place, and the arrival of Laurie the young next door neighbour with his tutor John Brooke, the stage is set for romantic drama. Meanwhile, Mrs March, with her husband away fighting in the Civil War, struggles to keep all together while the interfering Aunt March creates tension and sibling rivalry as the girls try to make sense of growing up in troubled times. LITTLE WOMEN is an old-fashioned ‘evening at the theatre’ that the whole family can enjoy.
