Despite her youth her voice carries the power and melancholy of great singers like Lana Del Rey or Lorde, with an alternative dreamy pop feel like that of Melanie Martinez. Her and her brother Finneas (Billie’s songwriting and producing party) were born to a family of actors and musicians, their raw talented getting nurtured from a young age. By 11 years old Billie had begun writing her songs, with their pair uploading their creations to SoundCloud in 2015. ‘Ocean Eyes’ became a viral hit, with Finneas and Billie soon setting to work on her debut EP ‘don’t smile at me’.
