Finding stardom has never been more thrilling in Fame! Let the performing arts students of New York take you on a rollercoaster ride of romance, passion and heartbreak. The 1980s cult movie first became a magical stage adaptation back in 1988. Now ‘Fame The Musical’ returns to celebrate its 30th anniversary this year. The UK/European tour will include London's Troubadour Wembley Park Theatre. Find the best Fame The Musical tickets right here at TickX.

The story of Fame The Musical features the same highs and lows of adolescence as the movie. However, the 1988 producer David de Silva reimagined the film with new plots and characters for the stage. In this highly-anticipated anniversary tour, Keith Jack, runner up in BBC 1’s ‘Any Dream Will Do’ will take on the role of Nick. The multi-talented singer Mica Paris will play Miss Sherman. Meanwhile, Hollyoaks’ Jorgie Porter will evoke the beloved Iris.

Despite changes in its evolution over the years, Fame The Musical has maintained a score that is the envy of many other musicals. That's why tickets for Fame the Musical are in short supply! Audiences will enjoy the Oscar-winning title song ‘Fame’ written by Dean Pitchford and Michael Gore. Other fantastic songs that feature from the film include 'I Want To Make Magic' and 'Bring on Tomorrow'.

Fame is a musical as well known for its songs as for its choreography. You can rest assured that the hit songs will be accompanied by a whole lot of singing and dancing. The production is directed and choreographed by Nick Winston. The producers are Selladoor Productions, the team behind the likes of 'Footloose', 'Flashdance' and 'Little Shop of Horrors'.

All in all, Fame the Musical is sure to leave you feeling like you too can take the world by storm. Don't miss your chance to get footloose this year! The show will embark on a UK and European tour in 2019. The tour will include stops like the Queen's Theatre, Aberdeen Arts Centre and the Alexandra in Birmingham. Venue Details

Aberdeen Arts Centre is one of Aberdeen's most inclusive theatres. This community-focused arts venue on King Street aims to provide access to the performing arts for people of all ages. You can pick up tickets to Aberdeen Arts Centre events right here via TickX.

Aberdeen Arts Centre opened in 1831 as a church for the city of Aberdeen. The church closed in the 1950s and reopened as an arts centre in 1963, the first of its kind in Scotland. The city council ran the centre until 1998 when it withdrew core funding. The community stepped in to prevent the centre's closure and the theatre is now an independent charity.

Aberdeen Arts Centre aims to provide accessible theatre and arts experiences suitable for all people. The theatre’s programme is wide-ranging, featuring hard-hitting new plays, musicals, dance, and musical performances. It also hosts shows specifically for children as well as family variety shows. Like many theatres, it has a tradition of hosting an annual pantomime.

Aberdeen Arts Centre’s 350-seater auditorium is split across two levels, an upper and lower gallery for audiences. In addition, it includes a small orchestra pit. Occasionally, the venue uses its café bar/downstairs rooms as more intimate performance spaces. Aberdeen Arts Centre also has its own exhibition area which hosts both the work of local artists and visiting art shows.

In addition to its shows, Aberdeen Arts Centre prides itself on its Creative Learning programme. This hosts classes catered towards 3-18 year olds which focus on drama and musical theatre. However, the venue also hosts classes during the school holidays including dance, music and crafts.

Whatever your interests are, you’ll find few more accessible theatres to visit in north-east Scotland than Aberdeen Arts Centre. You can find the very best Aberdeen Arts Centre tickets right here at TickX.
