Since then, Catfish and the Bottlemen have been present at many of the UK’s best festivals and have won a 2014 BBC Music Award and a 2016 Brit Award.

Cat Myers and Stine Tweeddale are the two halves that form Honeyblood, a lo-fie indie rock duo from Scotland. Originally the lineup consisted of Tweeddale and Shona McVicar, with intentions to flesh the group out with more members, but they were always asked to play the gigs as just a duo, showing them that they weren’t missing anything musically.

Rakel Mjöll, Alice Go and Bella Podpadec refuse to fit the mould society present, instead choosing to carve out their own path through bracing and intense sounds reminiscent of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Talking Heads and more.
