About

The annual outdoor festival returns for more fun in the sun with another stellar lineup to kickstart your summer. This year, Field Day is spread across two days of musical euphoria, and will take place in a brand new location, traveling south to Lambeth’s picturesque Brockwell Park. Since it first began making waves in 2007, the festival has gained a reputation as one of London’s best music events, with a wide range of renowned artists showcasing a spectrum of musical backgrounds. Headlining this year’s fiesta, Grammy-award winning artist Erykah Badu will make an exclusive performance, flaunting her unique and soulful sound. Joining the US singer-songwriter is electronic singer and co-founder of label Eglo Records, Sam Shepherd, better known as Floating Points. Festival-goers will also be delighted with the appearance of the eclectic and talented Four Tet. Other acts contributing to 2018 lineup include Thundercat, Fever Ray, Loyle Carner, Princess Nokia and many more. Beyond its impressive musical talent, Field Day also promises to deliver a new Village Mentality theme. A select area of the park will be transformed into an onsite village to revive the culture of boutique festivals, sporting flowers, green DIY stalls, and other intriguing activities. This year’s theme surrounds wheels and cycles, where you can enjoy partaking in their Human Wheelbarrow. As usual, the festival will also offer many food and drink options, with an ale bar to keep you quenched and a selection of street food from their Venn Street Market, Fat Gay Vegan, or Street Feast, with tasty grub to keep your stomach smiling.
