As the son of Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith, Jaden was famous before he was even born. He followed his parents along into the world of entertainment, debuting alongside his father in The Pursuit of Happyness at just eight years old, going on to perform in The Day the Earth Stood Still, The Karate Kid and After Earth.
His first foray into music was rapping in collaborator and long-time friend Justin Bieber's Never Say Never, starting work on his debut album Syre in 2014, releasing his first single in 2016. After three years of solid work, Syre was released at the end of 2017, along with the announcement of a follow up-album Erys coming in 2018.
Jaden combined his two field of music and acting when he starred in the 2017 Netflix original The Get Down, as well as voicing the leading character Kaz Kaan in Neo Yokio.
