Biography

This young Irish indie rock band began to make movements in the music industry in 2007 when they released single ‘Give Me a Minute’ back when they were still going by ’21 Demands’. The track topped Irish Singles Chart, the first independently released song to do so. In 2012, they had rebranded as Kodaline, and released their self-titled debut EP, with BBC Radio 1 DJ Fearne Cotton selecting ‘All I Want’ as her ‘Record of the Week’. Their second album, ‘In a Perfect World’, found huge success in Ireland going 2x Platinum, as well as peaking at no.3 in the UK and going gold. A number of their songs have made their way onto the big screen, as ‘All I Want’ was released as part of the soundtrack for hit movie ‘The Fault in Our Stars’, and ‘Perfect World’ featuring as the theme for Channel 4’s Gogglebox. They released the single ‘Brother’ earlier this year, setting up the anticipation of their third studio album.
