Sir Robert Bryson Hall II is the rapper Logic, and no he wasn’t knighted or anything. Instead it was the name that his mother gave him at birth. Having spent his childhood surrounded by poverty, drugs, alcohol and addiction, Logic turned to music as an outlet. He would work two jobs to support himself and come home using what little time he had left to sleep to write music instead. His hard work paid off, soon signing to the independent label Visionary Music Group.
In 2013 Logic was named alongside that of Action Bronson, Angel Haze and Schoolboy Q as one of XXL’s Top 10 Freshmen List, and had soon signed with Def Jam Recording, beginning work on his debut album. ‘Under Pressure’ debuted at #4 on the Billboard 200 and received high praise across the board, soon followed up with his sophomore album ‘The Incredible True Story’ and mixtape entitled ‘Bobby Tarantino’. In 2017 he came back with his third album ‘Everybody’, debuting at #1 in the Billboard 200.
