About

Six: The Musical is one of the West End's biggest smash hit musicals right now. This critically acclaimed musical sees the six wives of Henry VIII transformed from Tudor queens to pop princesses as they finally take the mic to tell their tale. Pick up your Six: The Musical tickets using TickX. Six remixes five hundred years of historical heartbreak into a 75-minute celebration of sisterly sass-itude. Presented as a girl group pop concert with all six members vying to be lead singer, Six manages to be both historically informative and hysterically fun. Written by upcoming playwrights Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss while studying for their final university exams, Six made its world premiere at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, presented by the Cambridge University Musical Theatre Society. The production was a huge success, attracting the attention of producers and allowing Six to make its professional off-West End debut in December 2017 at the Arts Theatre. Six festive performances followed before the show embarked on a UK tour throughout 2018. That included a West End appearance at the Arts Theatre. Six re-opened at the Arts Theatre in 2019 for an initial 16-week run which was extended until January 2020. With Natalie May Paris and Aimie Atkinson reprising their roles as Jane Seymour and Katherine Howard respectively, the show has been a smash hit. Six went international in 2019, making its North American debut at the Chicago Shakespeare Theater in May 2019. The same production continued at the American Repertory Theatre in Cambridge, Massachusetts in August 2019. It's clear from the popularity of Six that people across the world are losing their heads over this stunning musical.
