Charli XCX’s music spans all types of pop, from experimental, to electro, dark and gothic. She began making music as a young teen, recording an album with help from her parents and uploading songs to MySpace. After appearing illegal warehouse raves and parties in London, the young British singer signed a deal with Asylum Records in 2010. 

Her breakthrough hit was the 2012 single “I Love It”, co-writing and contributing vocals to the Swedish Duo Icona Pop’s song. Later that year she released her own single “You’re the One”, reaching #1 on the UK Singles Chart and being named as one of Billboard’s Best Songs of 2012. 

She debuted with her first studio album ‘True Romance’ in 2013, and released her second, entitled ‘Sucker’ the next year, and has supported acts like Ellie Goulding, Halsey, Sia and Katy Perry on their world tours.

Future first got his nickname rapping as part of the Dungeon Family collection in Atlanta, Georgia, where he would often be called “the future”. His Dungeon Family member and real life cousin persuaded the young rapper to dedicate more time to his rapping career, and pursue music full time. In the following years, Future began releasing a series of mixtapes, collaborating with artists like Gucci Mane earlier on in their career. 

In 2011, he signed with Epic Records and began churning out albums, his first being the 2012 ‘Pluto’, followed by ‘Honest’, ‘DS2’, ‘EVOL’ and ‘FUTURE’. In 2017, he released his sixth album ‘HNDRXX’, featuring singles with Rihanna, Chris Brown and Nicki Minaj.

London based producer and DJ Peter O'Grady, better known as Joy Orbison, broke onto the underground scene in October 2009 with his debut single “Hyph Mngo” released on Hotflush Recordings. The single was called the most forward thinking dubstep track of 2009, receiving airplay and floor-play worldwide and got voted as #23 in the Resident Advisor top 100 tracks of the 2000's and #1 in Fact Magazines top tracks of 2009.  Later in 2012 Joy Orbsion was voted #19 in the Resident Advisor ‘Top DJ's of 2012' poll. O'Grady now has residencies at his own London based club night 'Just For You' and at Manchester's 'meandyou' party, as well as co-founding his own record label ‘Hinge Finger'.

London duo Josh Loyd-Watson and Tom McFarland identified as J and T, formed Jungle in early 2013 having been school friends since the age of 9. As well as playing DJ sets the duo often expand into a seven-piece band for live performances. Their first London gig with the band sold out within 24hours of being on sale. Jungles self-titled debut album released in July of 2014 hit the Top 10 in the U.K. album charts and eventually being certified gold, in addition to appearing on several year-end best-of lists. The band maintained a busy touring schedule during 2015, playing festivals such as Glastonbury and Belgium's Dour Festival, in addition to sold-out concerts at large venues such as London's Brixton Academy.

With two members, Bob Weston and Steve Albini both sound engineers, they apply an incredibly mathematic approach to their sound. London group Sons of Kemet are jazz’s latest saviours. Led by saxophone and clarinet player Shabaka Hutchings, this award-winning group have wowed audiences with their fervent politics and fearless contemporary jazz which incorporates genres such as Afrobeat, soca and grime.

Sons of Kemet formed in 2011, consisting of Hutchings, tuba player Oren Marshall (now replaced by Theon Cross), and rotating drummers Tom Skinner, Seb Rochford and Eddie Hick. Given the band’s ever-shifting nature, it’s unsurprising that Sons of Kemet released an album quickly, winning plaudits along the way. In 2013 the band released their debut album Burn, which won them Best Act at the 2013 MOBO Awards.

Since then Sons of Kemet have released two more records: 2015’s Lest We Forget What We Came Here To Do, and 2018’s Your Queen Is A Reptile, which is themed around influential black women throughout history. The band are now signed to Impulse! Records, the classic American jazz label which has previously released records by jazz legends including Jon Coltrane, Charles Mingus and Ray Charles. Don’t bet against Sons of Kemet gaining the same reputation in years to come.

Having grown out of a school band, Stiff Little Fingers have been going strong since 1977, releasing four albums 'Inflammable Material', 'Nobody's Heroes', 'Go for It' and 'Now Then...' before breaking up in 1982 for a brief stint. They reformed in 1987, releasing their next album 'Flags and Emblems' in 1991. 

Since then they've gone on to release five more albums, including their most recent 'No Going Back' in 2014.

Suede debuted in 1992 after releasing "Barely Blue". She will be playing soon, with shows in Southampton, Cambridge and Cardiff.

The Australian psychedelic rock band founded by Kevin Parker ( Vocals & Guitarist) have said to bring back the genre to the mainstream stage. Being compared to Pink Floyed and other legendary acts the band have seen great success, most recently being invited by Adele to Warm up for her on one of the biggest and most famous stages in Glastonbury. The Band consists of Parker, Jay Watson (synthesiser, vocals) Dominic Simper (guitar) Cam Avery ( Bass guitar, vocals) and Julien Barbagllo (drums, vocals) The band have produced three studio albums with their new album “Currents” leading to Parker winning the ARPA Award, song of the year.

Born in South Korea but now Berlin-based, Peggy Gou is one of the hottest DJ's around. Fans scream her name as she steps on stage to spin the decks, eager to sample her distinctive yet non-genre-conforming sound. Each set differs from the last, ranging from disco to house to techno. Her passion for exploring different sounds is arguably what makes Gou one of the most exciting contemporary DJ's.

Her creative pursuit first began with fashion, where she undertook a course at the London College of Fashion. Upon discovering that she wasn’t so in to styling others, she moved to Berlin to experiment with music. One of her aims was to be the first Korean female to play Berghain, and so she began DJing continuously. She released her first record in 2016 ‘Art of War’ EP and fulfilled her objective by playing a Berghain Panorama Bar DJ set.

Gou is gaining more and more reputation as she tours the world, playing at many festivals and supporting well-known acts. She is creating more tunes, having recently lent her vocals to newer material such as ‘Han Jan’ that features Korean rapping, and is due to release an album soon. Gou also campaigns for more opportunities for young musicians, such as her work as a pannellist for the UN’s HeForShe campaign.

Scotland’s largest city Glasgow is second to none in the country when it comes to entertainment. From its history as Scotland's largest seaport, Glasgow is now the cultural hub of Scotland, serving as home to fantastic art galleries, theatres and live music venues. 

Glasgow's position as Scotland's main powerhouse means that it is blessed with hosting many of Scotland's national arts organisations, including Scottish Opera and Scottish Ballet whose performance home can be found at the city's Theatre Royal. Just a few of its museums and galleries include the Gallery of Modern Art, the Hunterian Museum and the famous Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum.

While Glasgow's intellectual standing in Scotland remains, the city also offers more visceral pleasures for thrill-seekers - visitors can catch one of the country's two biggest football teams, Celtic and Rangers, or partake in the city's world famous live music scene. Some of the world's finest musicians have passed through Glasgow, whether in the intimate surroundings of King Tut's Wah Wah Hut or the ultra-modern SSE Hydro Arena.
