Southampton venues don’t come better than the Engine Rooms. Formerly known as the Mo’Club, the Engine Rooms came to life in December 2014 and is one of Southampton’s most versatile entertainment spaces, hosting live music, comedy, cinema, theatre and more.
The Engine Rooms came into being after the Mo’Club was completely rebranded and renovated in December 2014. Prior to that, the Mo’Club served predominantly as a roller disco before playing host to live performers. Since its renovation by the MJR Group, the Engine Rooms has only grown in its ability to lend itself to a variety of purposes including hosting exhibitions and club nights.
One of the ways the Engine Rooms is able to choose this is through its shapeshifting nature as it can adapt its capacity depending on the event. Able to accommodate anywhere between 400 to 800 guests, the Engine Rooms can host any show with ease whether it’s an all-seated cabaret show or a sweaty, standing room only gig. Just a few of the recent visitors to the Engine Rooms include Cradle of Filth, Therapy? and Alabama 3.
