Bringing together artists from different musical backgrounds, Glee prides itself in dispensing a broad spectrum of live, intimate shows. Whether you’re into jazz, blues, electronic, indie, rock or pop, or perhaps prefer listening to comedy or poetry, Glee’s schedule will provide - full of superstars in the making.
The Nottingham entertainment spot is one of four of Glee’s venues around the UK, with others placed in Birmingham, Oxford and Cardiff. It’s nestled in the beautiful British Waterways Building, a former Victorian warehouse, with two purpose-built auditoria and a cafe serving up delicious grub on comedy nights.
Primarily showing music and comedy, many famous faces have graced its stage. The likes of Lee Evans, Jack Dee and Kevin Bridges impressed the locals with humour and wit, while Tim Robbins, The Drifters, and Gruff Rhys used lyrics and song. The club offers great acoustics, meaning gig-goers can enjoy excellent sound quality.
While it specialises in music and comedy, it also hosts other unique events, such as burlesque performances. It’s no wonder Glee has become one of Nottingham’s leading venues for a night out, catering to all tastes and interests.
